Parrish not in Canes' plans

There's some preseason speculation that apparently can be put to rest: Mark Parrish coming to the Hurricanes.

The former Minnesota Wild forward is available and the Canes are down a forward after the Achilles injury to Justin Williams. General manager Jim Rutherford said today that Parrish was offered the chance of coming into training camp for a free-agent tryout and turned down the invite.

So for now, that's that.

What other team is Parrish looking at?
He would be a great fit next to Cullen, they could team up for alot of goals.
