LaRose injured, not on road trip

Bookmark and Share

Canes coach Paul Maurice said today that forward Chad LaRose was injured during Saturday's game against the Blackhawks. LaRose has an upper-body injury, did not make the four-game road trip and will be re-evaluated next week.

Maurice said injured forwards Tuomo Ruutu, Erik Cole and Scott Walker still are not ready to play. The Canes elected to play Monday's game with 19 roster players.

There's a chance defenseman Joe Corvo could return Wednesday against Calgary.

Rushed back!

Imo Rosey came back to early...Maybe it was a coincidence that on his "bobble head" night he came back...or was it that Drayson Bowman was with the team and plays the same postion?..Hmmm came back to soon being job scared for trade bait?...An old sports addage "You can't make the club if your in the tub!

Bummer !!!

Just when one thnks it's safe to return to the water....Sigh...I wonder if Jussie could or would be willing to take Ruutu's spot on the olympic team ? Whoops!! silly me...he has to be invited doesn't he ? gee if they keep that attitude up, they may NOT get in a medal round...anybody read any where how the jamacian teams were doing ?? Wink

The Canes are Good,My Grandkids are Better, and Life is Great !! Go Canes !!

NUTS !

Rosey has been playing a lot better since his return from his last upper body injury. This is not good news.

Did Cole, Ruttu and Walker make the road trip, Chip ?
I'm getting worried there's more to Cole's status then we've been told so far.
