LaCouture to stay with River Rats

Forward Dan LaCouture is not headed to Russia to play in the Continental Hockey League and will continue to play with the Albany River Rats (AHL).
While LaCouture is said to have considered such a move, he has told River Rats coach Jeff Daniels that he is not leaving, Carolina Hurricanes officials say.
LaCouture signed a free-agent contract with the Canes after a tryout in training camp. He played the first 11 games with Carolina and had the game-winning goal in the opener before being sent to Albany.

Sun, 12/21/2008 - 04:09 — esteban1949What got me started was a few days ago someone (???) was beefing and ragging On Chip about the lack of effort or news to find out all the poop about Another Albany River Rat, that Possibly or maybe or might be looking to go to russia and they went on and even posted a link trying to show off and thinking or acting like they were better at reporting than the pros like Chip are...
I'd like to think and as i age like a good (?) cheese or wine i do mellow a bit, but even i forget at times that no one can report something or on something if they don't know or their sources can't tell them anything either as they don't know...We as people love to "speculate" on the what if type of stuff...but like homicide cops and accident investigators..Chip and luke have tried to get and present FACTS..not idle speculation...or whats ,coulda shoulda type of thing. Sure they toss in their opinions and who here hasn't ...but 99% of the time it is Da facts...and for the record...I be too young & tall to be a " little caesar" ( starring edward G. robinson !! hehehe)

I wonder if we could put fans like that on waviers and send them to the ECHL...were even my dead grandmother say in Texas would love them...:-)
