RALEIGH, NC – The Carolina Hurricanes announced that tonight’s game against the Washington Capitals will be played as scheduled.

Fans who cannot attend tonight’s game may exchange their unused tickets for tickets of equal or lesser value (subject to availability) for any Hurricanes game for the remainder of the 2010-11 regular season, with the exception of the games on Feb. 18, April 6 and April 9. Such exchanges must be made at the Time Warner Cable Box Office at the RBC Center during regular operating hours beginning Tuesday, Dec. 28. Fans must have their tickets in-hand when making their exchange.

The game will be broadcast on Fox Sports Carolinas HD beginning at 7 p.m.

Earlier today the team cancelled the Exclusive Season Ticket Holder Pregame Skate due to the weather conditions. That event will be rescheduled.
