If you'd like for Game 6 of the Canes-Devils series on Sunday to be an afteroon game at the RBC Center, pull for the New York Rangers to finish off the Washington Capitals tomorrow night.
If you'd prefer a Sunday night game, pull for the Caps to extend their series with a victory Friday.
That seems to be the way the starting time for Game 6 will be decided. If the Caps-Rangers series is over, the game will be shown by NBC, likely at 2 p.m. If it's a night game, likely at 7:30 p.m., it will be shown both by Versus and Fox Sports Carolinas, with Fox Sports Carolinas handling the telecast in the Triangle.

Full House??
Thu, 04/23/2009 - 12:18 — greensborogeezerNot knowing what time the game is to be played is the best way to have less than a full house. I would prefer the afternoon game mostly because of travel, but I agree the consensus is that is not the best.
2 is Horrid
Thu, 04/23/2009 - 12:04 — GoShelfAfternoon games are horrid. With the exeption of Denis Potvin, most players hate them. NHL players are creatures of habit. Bumping up their schedule 5 hours precipitates boring hockey. I've never watched an exciting afternoon game. Go Caps.
I dunno...

Playoffs
Thu, 04/23/2009 - 14:40 — GoShelfI am referring to Playoffs specifically. For logistical reasons they make sense during the regular season.

HD on Fox?
Thu, 04/23/2009 - 11:11 — wjcampIs Sunday's game scheduled for an HD broadcast if Fox Sports Carolinas carries the game? It's bad enough they aren't even showing all the home games in HD, but if everyone else in the country gets HD and we get SD I will not be a happy Caniac.
