Bayda to miss Game 4

Bookmark and Share

Canes forward Ryan Bayda will miss tonight's game against the Bruins because of an illness, coach Paul Maurice said this afternoon.

Bayda, who has two goals and an assist in the playoffs, will be replaced in the lineup by either Tim Conboy or Patrick Dwyer, Maurice said, noting it will be a game-time decision.

"Ryan had a rough night last night but is feeling better," Maurice said. "We didn't want to risk it, so he will miss tonight and we will go from there."

Dwyer is one of the "Black Aces," players added to supplement the roster if needed in the playoffs.

this does have Tim Conboy's name on it, but...Mo will have the last say...so we sit and wait with " baited breath" while the grill is going...and the food is being cooked and served...with just 2 hours and 08 mins to go till the face off !!! Go Canes !!!

I'll take my Ribeye

Ribeye ?? - To Hockeyhick

you mean you don't want half a steer i got got going on the fire pit ? Whoops that was last year for Memorial Day...ok...1 rib eye Fast & Rare coming up !!

Go Canes !!!

Oh man!

You KNOW Conboy would LOVE to get in on this series! Bayda has played his tail off (as usual) but man oh man, this game has Tim Conboy written ALL over it! Can you imagine how pumped the building will get when Conboy rubs out Lucic?!? Dwyer is a capable role player, but Conboy has the history and deserves the shot, especially in a game that should be extremely physical.

Feel better Ryan. You've given it your all no matter what has been asked of you, and that hasn't gone un-noticed by me or many other Caniacs!
