If you're a Campbell University alum and haven't been back to the Buies Creek campus in a while, you might be surprised by the activity.
The campus has been in the midst of a building boom of sorts, as explained here.
Of particular note is a new, recently-completed convocation center, pictured to the left.
The 106,000-square-foot facility was completed in October and is intended to be a home for cultural and athletics events in Harnett County.
It seats 3,000 people for athletic events and up to 5,000 for other events. It replaces Carter Gymnasium, the second-smallest athletic facility among Division I universities.
You can read more about the facility here.
