PNC Financial Services Group's senior management team for its corporate and institutional banking business in the Eastern Carolinas includes a mix of PNC and RBC Bank veterans.

Pittsburgh-based PNC completed its $3.45 billion acquisition of Raleigh-based RBC Bank from Royal Bank of Canada in March, setting the stage for the new management team announced Wednesday.

The bank's corporate and institutional banking team, led by regional president Paula Fryland, focuses on corporate and commercial banking and institutional investments.

The executives named Wednesday are listed in alphabetical order below.

-- Dan Behanna, market manager for treasury management. Behanna most recently was a group manager for PNC in Pittsburgh.

-- Brian Ciaverella, market manager for corporate banking. Ciaverella previously was corporate banking sales manager for PNC in Pittsburgh.

-- Blake Coules, senior vice president of asset resolution. Coules previously was senior vice president of real estate markets at RBC.

-- Laura Hulsey, market manager for commercial banking. Most recently, she was regional vice president for commercial markets at RBC. Hulsey has a bachelor’s degree in business management from N.C. State University.

-- Paul Kelleman, credit executive for risk management. Kelleman previously had a similar position in West Patterson, N.J.

-- Marcus Smith, senior vice president of public finance. Smith previously was director of public and institutional banking for RBC Bank. He has a bachelor’s degree in finance from the UNC-Wilmington and an MDA from Wake Forest University.
