A Durham-based company is offering its email software and services to North Carolina tech startups free for a year.
Contactology is offering its email marketing software to small companies less than 3 years old that are based in North Carolina or affiliated with a North Carolina startup accelerator.
The package includes personal consulting to help companies in the beginning phases of their email marketing programs.
“You will save money,” said marketing director Ben Niolet. “But you will also be getting a much greater benefit in terms of investors you’re able to reach out to and supporters you’re able to capture now. The value to the company is much greater than not having to pay for email software.”
And while Contactology hopes businesses will find its services so valuable they’ll continue with the company, there is no obligation to do so, Niolet said.
Ten years ago, Contactology itself began as a technology startup in the Triangle, and now wants to give others a helping hand, Niolet said.
Now, the company has 20 employees and helps a range of businesses – from small mom and pops to companies with millions of email subscribers – build their email campaigns, reporting and metrics through the Contactology cloud-based email system.
