Downtown Raleigh's RBC Plaza to add new restaurant

Bookmark and Share

A new Pan Asian restaurant will be the first business to occupy space in the groundfloor of the RBC Plaza building in downtown Raleigh.

It comes courtesy of G. Patel, one of the busiest downtown restaurateurs in recent years.

Patel’s Eschelon Hospitality also operates The Oxford Gastropub and Sono sushi restaurant – both down Fayetteville Street from RBC Plaza – and the Mura sushi restaurant in Raleigh’s North Hills.

Patel’s restaurant will occupy a 6,850-square-foot space at the corner of Fayetteville and Martin streets.

The RBC Plaza has two other groundfloor retail spaces that remain vacant.

Patel was out of the country on Thursday and not available for comment.

The restaurant is expected to open later this year after construction on the space is complete, according to a release from Kimball & Company's Restaurant Brokerage Division.
