Raleigh communications agency French/West/Vaughan has added another NBA player to its expanding roster of sports clients: Dahntay Jones, who starred at Duke before going pro.
French/West announced Monday that it has been retained by Jones, a nine-year NBA veteran, for marketing, public relations and endorsements. The agency also will promote the Dahntay Jones Foundation, which works with youths.
"His solid NBA career is a testament to his talent and work ethic, and his off-the-court business acumen as well as his community involvement is nothing short of inspiring," agency chairman and CEO Rick French said in a statement.
The agency's sports and entertainment practice also represents All-Pro NFL running back Arian Foster, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick, free safety Glover Quin of the Houston Texans and Orlando Magic forward Glen "Big Baby" Davis.
