Construction firm R.N. Rouse & Company, which has offices in Goldsboro, Cary and Wilmington, is being acquired by Danis Building Construction, a privately-owned commercial construction company based in Dayton, Ohio.
In a release announcing the acquisition Ray Rouse, chairman of the company, said the details are being finalized but that the entire Rouse management team and all employees will stay intact.
“The clients we’ve spoken with are very excited," Rouse said in the release. “It is our expectation to continue to offer personalized service but with expanded capabilities and resources that Danis will bring to the new company.”
Danis has projects in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia, Tennessee and Florida. The company maintains offices in Cincinnati, Columbus, Louisville, Kentucky, and Jacksonville.
With the acquisition of Rouse, Danis now has more than 400 employees and eight offices. Danis estimates its annual revenue will be between $250 and $300 million.
