Carolina Brewery has signed a distribution agreement that will make its beers available in Harris Teeter grocery stores and some local dining establishments.
The deal between the Chapel Hill brewery and Harris Inc. means that Harris will distribute kegs to bars and restaurants and 64-ounce glass growlers to retail stores. The beer is already available in most Harris Teeter stores, Maggiano's Little Italy and the Wyndham Garden Hotel.
For now, the brewery's new distribution deal will focus on its three signature beers, Sky Blue Golden Ale, Flagship IPA and Copperline Amber Ale. Seasonal beers will also be available during certain times of the year.
