The old Mike Peterson place in Forest Hills has a new owner.

A psychic.

Biond Fury, by trademark, and that's the name on the deed duly registered with Durham County.

According to his Web site (www.biondfury.com/bfhome.swf), he is a "Metaphysician, Music & Film producer and Publisher" who has a cable-TV program in New York and has spent years "exploring the realms connecting the spiritual world to the physical world. ... Biond perceives such phenomenom [sic] and Telepathy, Clairvoyance, Precognition and Remote Viewing."

His new house, on Cedar Street, was the scene of Kathleen Peterson's bloody death in 2001. Peterson's husband, novelist Mike Peterson, is serving a life sentence for her murder, although some of the Petersons' neighbors believe an owl was responsible.

Maybe the new owner can channel Kathleen or the owl and settle the matter once and for all.

Fury paid $1.3 million for the five-bedroom colonial, designed by Durham architect George Watts Carr in 1935. It had been listed at $1.7, which is also its revalued tax appraisal. Jason and Anastasia Balius were the previous owners, having paid $640,000 in 2004.
