Keep Durham Beautiful is offering money for volunteers' and schoolteachers' projects related to litter, recycling or making the town look nicer.

$500 Community Grants are available to any volunteer group;
$250 Teacher Grants are offered to Durham Public Schools faculty.

Applications are at http://www.keepdurhambeautiful.org/our-programs/grants-programs.html. Next deadline is June 20, for review and award in July. Grants are made once each quarter, with applications also due in September, December and March.
