Boom!

It is the talk of the town.

If you live in Clayton and were home Sunday night, you know exactly what I mean. Like most Sundays, I was sitting on the floor in my living room watching “Bridezillas” and some show on the Food Network with my laptop nestled on my lap. Every so often, I would look at the bride raging about flowers or sugar being poured into the brownie mix. But for the most part, I just had the television on because I do not like absolute silence. Drives me nuts – unless I’m sleeping.

Suddenly, shortly before 6 p.m., I heard this loud boom, almost like an explosion. The floor vibrated, the storm door shook and my cats were completely freaked out. My first thought was something had blown up, a tree had fallen on my roof or a car had smashed into a utility pole nearby. Turns out none of those theories were right.

I am not the only one who had a theory. According to 4042.com, some users think thought the sound was a sonic boom. One 4042.com user said, “Scared me too, I had JUST dozed off for a sec before getting dinner for the troops, woke me up, thought it was my kids destroying the house.”

Seems we may never know what the fuss was about, but at least, we are all safe.

Wow, that is kind of creepy.

Wow, that is kind of creepy. Its hard to believe that nobody knows what caused it? Maybe it is some sort of strange conspiracy, that would be kind of cool, I never get involved in any good conspiracies!
