Princeton falls to Mount Airy, 51-20

Princeton saw its solid football season come to an end tonight in a 51-20 loss to Mount Airy in the third round of the NCHSAA 1-A football playoffs. The Bulldogs finished the season with a 10-4 record.
Bulldogs' quarterback David Gurganus threw for 343 yards and three touchdowns in the loss. Benton Myers and Patrick Jacobs both had more than 125 yards receiving in the loss.
We'll recap the game and Princeton's season in Wednesday's edition of The Herald of Johnston County.
