Prep football previews coming tomorrow; rosters coming next week...

Just a reminder that our annual high school football preview is featured in Wednesday's editions of the Garner-Clayton Record and The Herald of Johnston County. You'll find full team previews, schedules and other team info on all nine of our area teams (Garner, Clayton, West Johnston, Southeast Raleigh, Smithfield-Selma, South Johnston, North Johnston, Princeton and Wake Christian) there.

I think the sections turned out well again.  A special thanks to everybody who helped (and dealt with me for the past week, probably the must stressful there is in my world): correspondents Jay Mumford, Ryan Bisesi, Thomas Babb and George Johnson, as well as the other news staff writers in our office who proofed the thing, the boss (Scott Bolejack) and, probably most of all our, CCI wizards for the past two weeks, Pam Nelson and Sherry Howe. 

One thing you'll have to wait a week on will be team rosters. A bit of a lack of space and our transition to a new design (CCI) and production program put them on the backburner for a week. So you'll see them featured with coverage of this weekend's first round of games in the Aug. 26 issues.
