North Johnston will welcome Johnston County rivals West Johnston and South Johnston and seven other teams for the North Johnston Boys Soccer Jamboree on Saturday.
Wilson Hunt, Franklinton, Wilson Beddingfield, Rocky Mount, Northwood, Roanoke Rapids and Fayetteville Jack Britt are also participating in the event.
The teams will take part in a series of 15 different 40-minute scrimmages at the North Johnston Soccer Stadium and practice fields, beginning at 8:30 a.m. The final scrimmage begins at 2:20 p.m. Admission is $5 per person.
The scrimmages involving North, South and West will be:
West Johnston vs. Wilson Hunt, 8:30 a.m. (NJ Stadium)
South Johnston vs. Wilson Beddingfield, 8:30 a.m. (practice field)
North Johnston vs. Fayetteville Britt, 9:20 a.m. (NJ Stadium)
South Johnston vs. Wilson Hunt, 10:10 a.m. (NJ Stadium)
North Johnston vs. Rocky Mount, 11 a.m. (NJ Stadium)
West Johnston vs. Wilson Beddingfield, 11 a.m. (practice field)
South Johnston vs. Roanoke Rapids, 12:40 p.m. (practice field)
North Johnston vs. Northwood, 1:30 p.m. (NJ Stadium)
West Johnston vs. Franklinton, 1:30 p.m. (practice field)
