Legion Series opener rained out, rest of schedule set

Tuesday night's scheduled American Legion Baseball Area I West Championship Series between Johnston County-based Post 71 and Durham Post 7 was washed out by rain.
Here's how the best-of-five series schedule breaks down:
Game 1: Wednesday at Smithfield-Selma High School, 7 p.m.
Game 2: Friday at Durham Riverside High School, 7 p.m.
Game 3: Saturday at Smithfield-Selma High School, 7 p.m.
Game 4*: Sunday at Durham Riverside High School, 7 p.m.
Game 5*: Monday at Durham Riverside High School, 7 p.m.
