Garner boys, Green Hope girls lead area teams in state hoops rankings

This week's latestest ncpreps.com statewide high school basketball polls are out.

River Mill Academy (20-1), out of Graham, is ranked first among 1-A girls.

Garner and Princeton's boys teams are ranked third in their respective divisions, while Green Hope, Millbrook, Riverside and Southeast Raleigh all made the girls 4-A top-10.

Middle Creek's boys are a spot behind Garner in the 4-A poll.

Siler City's Jordan-Matthews is ranked 5th in the 2-A boys poll, while Bunn (6th) and Granville Central (7th) are each ranked in the 2-A girls poll. Cameron Union Pines is 9th in the 3-A girls poll.
