Season's "greetings": Ho ho no

Bookmark and Share

So while we were all paying attention to matters of grave import, something else snuck up on us -- Christmas. Just like some stores are already busting out the Christmas trees with Thanksgiving still weeks away, Raleigh oldies station WWMY is already touting itself as "Carolina's Official Christmas Music Channel" on its Web site, with an online station for those who want to get a jump on listening to Christmas music.

So far, it's just online. But given that Christmas seems to come earlier every year on the radio, I'm sure it will be mere days before this gravitates over to the airwaves.

Only 50 shopping days left, people!

ADDENDUM (11/6/08): Two Boston stations are already at it.

NO.

SO WRONG. As my pal Charlie Brown would say, "Augh!"
