Bassist Dan Grennes has amassed quite a resume since he graduated from the Berklee College of Music in 1994, playing in bands of his own and also backing up everybody from techno hitmaker Moby to comedian Dave Chappelle. But the Raleigh native's highest-profile gig to date has to be his current one, playing in the stage band for the Broadway version of Green Day's "American Idiot" -- a turn of events that amuses Grennes greatly.
