More "unofficial" confirmation of U2's Raleigh date

While this still doesn't count as "official" confirmation, a pre-sale does appear to be afoot for the Raleigh U2 date. Several members of the Wolfpack Club have forwarded this my way today:

David Menconi has been the News & Observer's music critic since 1991. Before that, he spent a few years at the Daily Camera in Boulder, Colo.; and before that, he earned a masters degree in journalism from the University of Texas (on top of an English degree from Southwestern University).

Sun, 04/05/2009 - 23:35 — kcusimanoI just found your U2 info online late last week, after much stewing and gnashing of teeth as one of the folks who was debating on whether or not to buy tickets to the Charlottesville show when they went on presale on Tuesday morning and then again for the general sale on Friday.
But based on info I got from the folks at Carter-Finley last Monday and then seeing your info that you've since gotten from Live Nation as well as those Wolfpack email notifications, I'm feeling much better about having saved my presale code for the unofficial Raleigh show, and NOT used them for C-ville at the presale last Tuesday.
