On the Beat

On the Beat: David Menconi on music

News & Observer music critic David Menconi's random (and we do mean random) musings about all things related to music and culture of the "popular" variety.

Here Dolly Parton comes again

Bookmark and Share

New to Pollstar's concert listings today -- star of stage, screen and countless demented fantasies, the great country-pop icon Dolly Parton, at Raleigh's RBC Center on Nov. 5 (almost exactly four years since her last RBC show, oddly enough).

An on-sale date will be announced on Friday.

(Thanks, Al.)

LOL "Star of stage, screen

LOL "Star of stage, screen and countless demented fantasies" is that why you posted a morphed picture of Dolly?? Eventhough she's big in more ways than one she's not as big as in the picture LOL. Nevertherless Dolly is one of the greatest hotties of the world. At age 62 she still looks better than a lot of those so-called supermodels. All the more reason that it's way overdue that she showed those 34E's aka "The Best Boobs in the Bizz" to the world, so c'mon Dolly pose nude in the near future and don't wait until y'er 100-th birthday or at least have the pictures that have been taken in the past published!!
