Gene Simmons has always had a flair for  outrageous self-promotion -- the man plays in Kiss, after all. And yet it's still difficult to fathom that he (or his minions) really, truly thought this was a good idea. Yeech...

gene simmons is the only approachable rock star i ever met at a concert,  he went from a box to the bar, ordered a drink and went back to his box, mobbed by velvet revolver fans. very cool

at lisa marie's bust of a concert, 70% empty, mom made security clear the lobby before she headed up and hid out in her balcony box ... still pretty damn cool....
