Thursday night's "American Idol" results show was pretty drama-free for Chapel Hill's Anoop Desai, who was declared safe from the bottom three shortly after 8:30. So he could sit back and watch his fellow contestants sweat it out. In the end, Michael Sarver was sent packing after earning the fewest votes following Wednesday night's Motown show.
The competition will continue next week.
