UNC-ECU sold out
The NCAA Super Regional series between No. 4 national seed North Carolina and East Carolina is sold out, UNC announced this afternoon.
A ticket sale for the general public had been tentatively scheduled for 5 p.m. today, but the UNC ticket office held a private presale for the best-of-three-games series in Chapel Hill. All the tickets were claimed.
The series is scheduled to begin Saturday at noon at UNC's Boshamer Stadium and will be televised live on ESPNU. The second game, scheduled for noon on Sunday, will be televised on ESPN.
If needed, the third game will be played Monday at either 1 p.m. on ESPN or at 7 p.m. on ESPN2.

Your school is better than that and so are at least some of the fans. It is part of being the host school and goes by seed. Get over your self! Look forward to seeing a great series with mostly home grown NC players this weekend and a great game if the fall. The way Butch has UNC going you had better enjoy it while you can!

My post didn't say ECU "owned" Butch last year in Greenville. I didn't refer to one game. I said currently we own him overall since he has lost to ECU as the Miami coach and as the UNC coach and he has never beat the Pirates. In what way does Butch have UNC going by the way? Looks to me like the same 'ol same 'ol high recruiting class rankings with zero results...same thing that Bunting did. You're going to come back with the we'll see excuse and we'll be having this conversation in a few years when UNC still hasn't competed for a championship or Butch has moved on because he's tired of playing 2nd
