The Durham Bulls announced a new partnership with 99.9 (FM) The Fan, which will broadcast all of the games this season.
Last year, The Fan broadcast only on the weekends, what amounted to 65 games, while all the games were also on WRJD 1401 AM. The AM station won't be broadcasting any games this year.
And not all of the games will be on their analog station. Some, because of scheduling conflicts, will only be on the station's HD feed, which can be heard on an HD radio. Those without one can stream the broadcast on the Internet.
As N&O sports media scribe Roger van der Horst noted at his blog here, both the Bulls and The Fan are owned by Capitol Broadcasting, so this isn't a big surprise.
Another division of Capitol Broadcasting, Time Warner Cable Channel 251, will broadcast 56 home games starting May 1. All the games will be broadcast at Milb.tv.
