Wrong venue for State-Marquette

Bookmark and Share

N.C. State played two regular-season games at Reynolds Coliseum this season. Executive editor John Drescher (who's a State season-ticket holder) writes that Monday's Marquette game should have been one of them.

Given State's historical connection to Marquette and the fact that they were honoring the 1974 national championship team, maybe the Old Barn would have worked some magic for the Wolfpack in the final possession.

You can read Drescher's full thoughts on State's new homecourt vs. the old one here.

NC State would have won if they played at Reynolds..??

Well what if they played @ Marquette? What if they played at MSG? What if they played at Ford Field..

I understand that the game should have been played at Reynolds because they were honoring the 74' team, but saying they would have won?? Kind of hard to argue..
