Speaking of comprehensive lists, Rivals put together a chart on the driving distances of 119 of the 120 I-A teams (excluding Hawaii for obvious reasons).
As any N.C. State fan with expendable income already knows, it's a good year to be a Wolfpacker, travel-wise anyway. State avoids the two longest trips in the ACC — BC to the north and Miami to the south — and South Carolina is its only road trip outside the ACC.
State will log the fewest driving miles this season, according to Rivals, just 1,734. Considering State plays at UNC and Duke, that would be a no-brainer.
A wealthy Fresno State fan would almost triple State's total in Week 1 — at Rutgers in New Brunswick, N.J. The Bulldogs top the list at 18,190 miles.
