Bias of news and observer in sports reporting
Wed, 12/10/2008 - 15:46 — ccncdocI find it ironic that all those graduates of the UNC-CH school of journalism choose to devote a single column to the Bukus award given to Aaron Curry. That is one of the most coveted individual awards in college foot ball. Had he been a UNC-CH student, I would bet that he would have been given the top billing that you guys chose to give to an assistant coach of a faililng professional hockey team. I find much less biased coverage in the Fayetteville Observer. Guess I'll have to go there for any unbiased reporting. No wonder people are abandoning newspaper reading in droves. We can get all the biased news we want from TV and 24 hours a day.
what the heck are you

I agree
Wed, 12/10/2008 - 09:02 — JPDOhioI love this kind of story. Here is a kid who was supposed to be too small for D1 and he goes on to win this kind of award. It is amazing. Congratulations.
