North Carolina defensive end Darrius Massenburg will miss Thursday's game at Rutgers because of a knee injury, the school announced Monday. He had exploratory arthroscopic knee surgery at UNC Hospitals on Monday that revealed no structural damage.
As per ACC guidelines, the Tar Heels' full injury report will be released after Tuesday practice. UNC leaves for New Jersey on Wednesday.
