MEMPHIS, Tenn. — With freshman forward Ed Davis’ increased offensive presence of late, there’s been a lot of speculation as to whether the reserve might jump to the NBA after this season. Asked Saturday if he will consider it, he said “no.”

“I just want to win a national championship, I just want to play my years at Carolina, that’s all I’m thinking about right now,’’ said Davis, whose Tar Heels play Oklahoma in the regional final Sunday.

Davis is averaging 6.7 points and 6.7 rebounds this season. His dad, Terry, played in the NBA for 10 years.

davis retyrbs

if davis returns, carolina will have a heck of lot of mcd's in the front court-too bad there is not another lawson or felton to distribute the ball.

DUIke

will never compete for another championship as long as The Rat runs the program.

Yea, I know those are bold words but if you look at it objectively, you'lll see it too.

Zoubek over Plumlee

What does that tell you?

chance at going pro

coming out of high school, Miles Plumlee was awful close to being as good as Davis.....only thing is, Miles got buried as all big men do, by th brilliant K, while Davis was getting meaningful minutes from 'ol Roy!!! K, quit bringing in big men, if you won't give them a chance!!!

well and good

but what if UNC does win the title??  what if they don't??  an emphatic answer now is to keep the wolves at bay.
