OMAHA, Neb. — North Carolina will start junior righthander Adam Warren for its eliminaton game against Fresno State on Sunday night, coach Mike Fox said.

Warren (9-2, 4.32 ERA) last pitched on Tuesday, when UNC lost to the Bulldogs. But UNC came back to beat Fresno State on Friday night to force a third match-up. The winner will play Georgia in the best-of-three championship series.

Fox also said that ace Alex White, who has come in to close Carolina's last two elimination games, likely won't be available. He recorded his third win of this CWS on Saturday night, tying the record.
