Bookmark and Share

UNC confirmed today that it has received a commitment from an in-state point guard recruit.

Stilman White, a 6-1 point guard from Wilmington's Hoggard High, has signed a National Letter of Intent to play for  the Tar Heels. White earned first-team Associated Press all-state honors and scored 1,078 points and had 231 assists in 76 career games.

As a senior, White averaged a career-high 20.5 points and 3.0 assists per game and leaves Hoggard as its alltime leader in made free throws (280) and three-point field goal percentage (.381).

“If you look at our roster for next season, you can see we had a depth issue at point guard," UNC coach Roy Williams said in a statement released today by the university. "Stilman is a youngster who came on strong as his high school career went along. He’s going to be a great team player for us because he has the toughness and the competitiveness I love in a point guard.”

YIKES !!!!!

Not even ranked in the Coleman  top 200 of the 2011 class....Just curious, Since Bobby Jones, who was the last NCHS player (caucasian).....who made an impact on the  UNC basketball court?

And worse, when the neon signs go off ,  "this guy can't play in the ACC !!".....they NEVER wanna leave.....

Ol Roy must really hate crossing paths with John Calipari in HS gyms......because ol John sure ain't wasting scholarships.....recruiting triple digit ranked players.

Answer

Roy Williams.

2-0

That is the score b/tn Roy and Cal when it comes to national titles. Any other questions.

That's pretty racist

substitute the name of the sport and substitute "black" for "caucasian" and this post would be removed as offensive. shame on you for politically correct stereotyping.
