North Carolina’s basketball players were up and moving by mid-morning today in preparation for tonight’s NCAA East semifinal game against Marquette in The Prudential Center (7:15 p.m., CBS).
Ohio State faces Kentucky in the second game.
The winners tonight will play Sunday for a trip to the Houston Final Four.
UNC spokesman Matt Bowers said the Heels will have a hour-long shoot-around in the building starting at 11:45 a.m.
The team pre-game meal will begin at 3:15 p.m., followed by a rest/study period.
Most of the Carolina players prefer the 7 o’clock game-time period over later starts because they have less time to sit around in the hotel.
After a team meal Thursday night, the Heels were back in the hotel in time to watch Duke’s loss to Arizona in the West semis.
