Paulus playing with injured arm

Bookmark and Share

DURHAM — Duke senior guard Greg Paulus played with an injured right forearm in the win over Rhode Island on Sunday. He hurt it on Friday, Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski said, and couldn't even close his hand that day, much less grip a ball or shoot with any accuracy.

Paulus played with a long sleeve on his right (shooting) forearm. He scored 3 points, going 1-for-3 from the field, with one assist and a steal. Krzyzewski said normally, in a tight situation like Duke faced still trailing in the game's final minute, Paulus would play some of those minutes because of his free-throw and 3-point shooting skill.

NORMALLY!!!

NORMALLY!!!???  normally he plays the entire game as the starting PG for the DUIke Blue Devils.  good one Krusheschkov!!  go color your hair some more.

He was probably trying to

He was probably trying to flop in practice and landed wrong because i hear they still practice the art of "flooping" at Duke. Or he got Smith to help reinact the dunk Green put on him last year..

Paulus

Paulus hurt? Yeah.. right... Just another excuse from the Coach K PR department. He is embarrased that he almost lost to a bad Rhode Island team at home. Im sure he will say his back will be hurting again soon. You think Johnny D. is glad he went to Stanford?
