Here we go!
Wed, 06/06/2012 - 13:06 — JPDOhioI expect to State to be competitive against a very strong UF squad. The Pack certainly is battle tested and refused to lose this past weekend when it would have been easy to quit. The key is keeping their composure and not allowing mistakes to turn into big innings, which was their main problem in the Regional.
Hopefully, Coach Avent will go with Rodon on Saturday. No need for gamesmanship in a two or three game series. Go with your best available each time.
Also pulling for Kent State at Oregon. Although the Golden Flashes are a Cinderella story, they have a solid baseball history, which includes Thurman Munson as an alumnus. Would love to see them join the Pack in the CWS.
Go Pack! Go Golden Flashes!
