Times Higher Education ranks UNC 30th in the list of the world’s top universities for the 2010-2011 school year.
UNC is among the 200 universities that were chosen. It’s the seventh year the organization has published the list. With its new rankings data provider, Thomson Reuters, Times Higher Education has revamped its ranking system.
The rankings are based on 13 separate indicators, which are grouped together under five categories; teaching, research, citations, industry income, and international mix.
UNC received high marks for citations, which the organization defines as research influence. Times Higher Education says UNC is one of the world’s leading public research universities.

Just wondering. Or did UNC "tutor" the selection committee?
Gee, sure wish we could share your joy. But things like your UNC arrogance get in the way. Enjoy your ill-gotten gains.

So glad that State is
Mon, 09/27/2010 - 14:23 — mad_maxSo glad that State is getting plenty of TV time. I couldn't imagine living elsewhere and not being able to catch all the local broadcasts (without purchasing a special online package or something). Also, I've been looking forward to this Clemson/UNC game for a while...even before the investigations started. I don't think the Tiger fans like the Heels very much, and that basketball record they have in CH only makes it worse. Should be very intense, especially if there are some UNC defenders coming back by that time.
did i miss something
