North Carolina has not made any more decisions about which players will travel to Atlanta for Saturday's opener against Louisiana State, coach Butch Davis said Thursday.
The school announced Wednesday that senior defensive tackle Marvin Austin would not play on Saturday and is suspended indefinitely. Davis said there was no update on the NCAA investigation as of Thursday afternoon.
"I don't [have an update]," Davis said. "I wish I did."
UNC is scheduled to leave for Atlanta on Friday morning at 9:30 a.m. The players that can't play, won't travel, Davis said.
"It's conceivable we won't know a resolution until the middle of the afternoon on Saturday," Davis said. "We're making contingency plans for a variety of different things."
