Virginia Tech lost both Sean Glennon and Tyrod Taylor to ankle injuries in Saturday's 30-20 loss at Florida State.
The Hokies have 10 days to heal before Maryland visits Blacksburg on Thursday, Nov. 6. Quarterback-turned-receiver-turned-emergency-quarterback Cory Holt might have to start against the 25th-ranked Terps, according to The Roanoke Times.
Both Glennon and Taylor are wearing protective walking boots and will be re-evaluated later this week. Glennon has a better chance of playing on Virginia Tech's favorite night, than Taylor, according to the team's trainer.
Holt was serviceable in his first college action at quarterback since 2006 completing 3 of 6 passes for 33 yards and a touchdown.

Is Maryland For REAL???
Mon, 11/03/2008 - 11:50 — TERPSRULEThe Hokies should prove to be a good test for Maryland....and a chance for me to see if they are worthy of their current ranking in the top 25. I am really surprised(NOT shocked. We have Fridge). If The Terps can maintain their lofty position...I see no reason why Ralph should not be ACC Coach of the year. I wonder what bowl and who we will play. EXCITING!!!
