N.C. State women's basketball released its 2010-11 schedule on Wednesday, marking the second season for coach Kellie Harper.
The Wolfpack opens the season for third consecutive season with its tournament – the Sheraton Raleigh Wolfpack Invitational on – Nov. 12 and 13. College of Charleston, Creighton and Liberty are the teams participating.
"We are so excited about this upcoming season," Harper said. "Our team will be challenged from our season opening tournament in November to the ACC tournament in March."
The Wolfpack earned a berth in the NCAA Tournament last season and made it to the finals of the ACC Championship game. Behind the talents of sophomore Marissa Kastanek and junior Bonae Holston, the Pack looks to make its way back.
State faces Illinois on Dec. 1 in the annual ACC/Big Ten Challenge.
The Pack hosts Southern Cal on Dec. 5, before hitting the road to face South Carolina on Dec. 12. They are participating in the Long Beach State Tournament in Long Beach, Calif. Dec. 19 and 20, though opponents have not been scheduled.
The Pack has its first ACC game at home on Jan. 6 against Clemson.
The schedule includes at least seven televised conference games, including at Georgia Tech on ESPN2 on Feb. 13. The Pack faces Duke on Jan. 23, a nationally televised event on FOX Sports.
The Pack faces North Carolina on Feb. 21.
The Pack has schedule eight teams that advanced to the NCAA tournament last season.
