N.C. State will be without two starters from its offensive line for Saturday's trip to Miami. Right tackle Andrew Wallace and left tackle Rob Crisp will both miss the game with injuries.
Wallace, a senior, injured his left foot in last Saturday's 52-14 win over The Citadel and will miss his first game of the season. Crisp, a junior, will miss his fourth straight game with a back injury, according to the injury report released by N.C. State on Thursday morning.
Sophomore tackle Tyson Chandler has started for Crisp the past three games and will get the start against the Hurricanes. It's unclear what State will do without Wallace. One option would be to slide senior R.J. Mattes back to tackle and use Duran Christophe at guard. Mattes started last at tackle and Christophe started at guard, but Mattes has since moved to guard and Christophe has been used as a backup.
Running back Tony Creecy, who missed The Citadel win, is expected to return for Saturday's ACC opener and he will be backed up by freshman Shadrach Thornton, who ran for 145 yards and two touchdowns in his college debut last week.
Running back James Washington (ankle) will miss his second straight game and coach Tom O'Brien did not provide an updated on suspended running back Mustafa Greene, who has missed the past two games.

Thu, 09/27/2012 - 11:39 — YAR8packNot. Good. Much like every team the Wolfpack has played so far since watching the Tennessee game film, Miami will be bringing the defensive heat early and often on Saturday. If I'm Bible I'm working several different screen plays into the gameplan.
This is going to be a real test for the Wolfpack. I think they can win it if they play focused and don't look to next weekend's game.
