North Carolina's patched up offensive line could be missing another piece on Saturday.
Left tackle Kyle Jolly (ankle) will be a game-time decision, UNC coach Butch Davis said Thursday. Jolly and left guard Jonathan Cooper (ankle) were both expected to practice Thursday and will be re-evaluated for Saturday's nonconference game with Georgia Southern.
"We'll see how he feels Saturday," Davis said. "We're hopeful that he'll have a chance to play."
Without Jolly and Cooper, the Heels would be down to two offensive linemen who started in the opener. The shuffled line-up would have Greg Elleby at left tackle and Travis Bond at left guard. Elleby has started in Cooper's spot at left guard since the UConn game on Sept. 12. Bond is a true freshman.
There's no chance center Lowell Dyer (shoulder) or tight end Zack Pianalto (foot) will play Saturday, Davis said.

Fri, 10/09/2009 - 05:28 — makuayanow i get it. When Butch says his team is "young" he means they are veterans, but when he says, as he is quoted above "very very young" he means "get ready for a butt whopping"
