Lawson a game-time decision

Bookmark and Share

GREENSBORO —
North Carolina point guard Ty Lawson will be a game-time decision for Saturday's second-round NCAA Tournament game with Louisiana State, coach Roy Williams said Friday afternoon.

Lawson has missed the last three games with a jammed right big toe.

Williams said he planned to have Lawson practice some on Friday afternoon, then evaluate the toe afterward and again at 11:30 p.m. If it's decided that Lawson will play, he will start the game, Williams said, rather than starting off on the bench and risking that the toe will stiffen after warm-ups.

Although Lawson cautioned that he hadn't run on the toe yet during Friday's media availability, he sounded hopeful.

"I think I'm probably going to play Saturday," he said.

Game time is 5:45 p.m.

ROY BOY ...it's time to get serious and earn your $$$$$$

You MIShandled the Lawson-less team in Atlanta..... going thru the motions as if it was business as usual.... and coming home a LOSER....

NO Lawson is like hitting an iceberg.....and your Road Kill exhibition game is now over......

You keep playing Frasor...and Charmin Thompson big minutes...with DAVIS sitting on the bench....and this team will come home a LOSER again....just like 19 of your 20 ncaa tournament teams have likewise come home a LOSER.;.......

revelation

you are no UNC fan.  you never have anything good to say about the Heels, yet they are consistently the best team in the Nation year after year.  dadgum, only one team can win each year!  it takes some luck too!!

there is no way you can be so full of hate about your team.

sorry, you are a phony and NOT a Carolina fan.

well

2005 bitc#, 2005...

19 out of 20

19 out of 20 losers....one exception with Doherty's recruits

The Toe

Man I hope his toe is OK. We don't want the Boo Birds to have another excuse. Caro-winer is going to flop again.

Is the RPMs Ready?

If he's ready tell him show'em what you got for the NCAAs. I just hope things blend in keep the consistency on the game plan UNC had. LSU is a different team. We don't know what LSU team is going to show up.
