Krzyzewski calls out Duke fans
DURHAM — Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski was a little miffed on Wednesday after his eighth-ranked Blue Devils beat Lenoir-Rhyne 95-42 but what looked like several hundred season-ticket holders did not fill their seats in Cameron Indoor.
The audio clips come from Krzyzewski's post-game press conference. Clip 1 picks up where he talks about his team "missing a little something" against the Bears. Clip 2 is another two minutes on the same topic.
Krzyzewski didn't rant or rave but he was obviously sending a message. By the end, he's telling fans, "Let's go. Go, go, go, go, go, go." Make sure to listen all the way to the end of Clip 2 when Krzyzewski entertains himself and the assembled with several presidential election-tinged zingers.

UT and Michigan football still fill 100,000 seat stadiums, but that doesn't make them any better...24K really helped beat Gardner-Webb last year didn't it...maybe the 5 on the court always matter more than the number in the stands, which is why Duke will always be on TV more than UK because no one outside of Lexington really cares about the cats anymore. If whoever the UK coach is this week were to call out the fans, some boosters would have him fired...no season ticket holder, nor booster, will ever be bigger than coach K. He's a class act and will eventually retire the best and most successful college coach in history...and UK won't get out of its own way to have a coach for more than 5-10 years...just my opinion.

For the record, Anonymous, UK is more relevant on a national scene RIGHT NOW than dewk is. Yeah, dewk bought another undeserved top 10 pre-season ranking that will make them look all the more pathetic when they lose in the first or second round of the NCAA's...AGAIN... for the fourth year in a row!
And a few of those wins were gimmie's like the one two or three years back when Xavier had them beat until the refs swooped in to save the day for the dewkies.
For any objective observers in sports there exists two of the biggest whiner-teams-organizations in all of sports and they were connected in the article above: dewk and the stealers. No two teams cry and whine in general and to the refs more than those two teams. Good teams, good organizations, good players but also the biggest whiners of their respective sports.
