K not a fan of Obama's brackets

Bookmark and Share

Former Duke basketball player Reggie Love is on President Obama’s staff, but he couldn't sway his bracket. Obama picked North Carolina to win the national title in his bracket for ESPN, with Duke losing in the East Regional final.

"Somebody said we're not in President Obama’s Final Four," Krzyzewski said Wednesday. "As much as I respect what he's done, really, the economy is something he should focus on, probably more than the brackets."

Said Duke forward Kyle Singler: "I have Duke winning in mine."

Obama's Sheet

Is anyone else getting sick of the press Obama's NCAA picks are getting on TV and the press? Picks in the NCAA [even by Obama] are like belly-buttons everyone has one!

RandomPool

Perhaps K would have preferred if OBama went with a randompool.com bracket. That at least 20 more minutes he could have spent on the economy.

gvillegatr, needs to be more

gvillegatr, needs to be more respectful because I don't think he worried about Sidney's opinion. Do you think Sidney picked Arizona? That would be president Hussein to you. You need to show some respect.

the wb

i'll show respect when, in my opinion, he starts acting like a president.  throwing money at everything he sees is not going to solve any problems for my children or theirs.  not doing due dilligence in this AIG bonus fiasco just goes to show what you and some others have voted for ... a well spoken man with no record to speak of.  wake up!

jeez

I'm not responding wasting any more time responding to responses, but

You do realize this started with a massive bailout directed by the Federal Reserve and Dept of Treasury last year?

and this...

Mar 19'09

WASHINGTON (AFP) - US Federal Reserve officials knew about the
controversial AIG bonuses but did not tell Treasury or White House
officials for months, the Washington Post reported Thursday.

Clever comment

I hate K, but that was a respectable comment.

Rights

Obama didn't give up the right to his opinion when he took the oath of office.  They asked for his opinion and he gave it... K needs to deal with it and so does anyone else who doesn't like it.

Coach K's comments

Obama works for the taxpayers. Coach K is a taxpayer (a large one, I imagine). As a taxpayer Coach K has just as much a right to criticize the President as anyone else does.

Ditto

As much I respect Coach K, he should spend more time focusing on basketball and not the press... The bracket seems  about right...

For Heaven's Sake

As Paul Harvey used to say.... Now for the REST of the story:

Humor = Good

lol I had already assumed it was all joking and in good fun. I mean, is anyone really taking this seriously?

Your Answer

Is anyone really taking this seriously? Apparently, yes.

Should they be? No.

I am not a fan of K or Obama, but this is ridiculous.

As much as I hate

As much as I hate Duke....That was classic Singler!

typical

In a nutshell that is Mike Krushesckov.  He is an A-List whiner and complainer.

Had Hussein put him in his Final 4, he (K) would have thanked him and made a humorous joke in his (Hussein) favor about it.
