GREENSBORO - N.C. State seniors Farnold Degand and Dennis Horner discussed coach Sid Lowe's emphasis on an uptempo offense while talking with reporters at the ACC's media day on Sunday.

Farnold, a senior guard, said preseason workouts were the toughest they've ever been, with teammates running on alternating days on the track and the basketball court. "We were running a lot," he said in preparation for the upcoming season.
