Talking Points: Booker's bricks bounce Clemson
First Look

ATLANTA — Georgia Tech only won two ACC games during the season. The Yellow Jackets have a chance to equal that total in the ACC Tournament.

Georgia Tech beat Clemson 86-81 in the first round of the ACC Tournament on Thursday in Atlanta.

The host Jackets are the third No. 12 seed in four years to win its opening-round game. They will face No. 4 Florida State on Friday at 2:30 p.m.

The fifth-seeded Tigers made it to the ACC Tournament championship game last year in Charlotte. They stumbled out of the gate against the Jackets, going into the half tied at 39, and have been unable to get their offense going. They went an abysmal 10 of 27 from 3-point range.

Senior Lewis Clinch led the Jackets with a game-high 32 points.
